The method involves shifting a reference housing in an operating condition. A design form corresponding to an operating form of a borehole is manufactured in the operating condition of the reference housing. An actual exit form (10) of the borehole is measured resulting from the design form. A design exit form is determined on the basis of the measured actual exit form. The design exit form is placed with a machining process in another housing in unloaded condition.
