Disclosed is a method for producing a solid natural rubber which can be prevented from the increase in viscosity during storage, which comprises adding a compound having a quaternary ammonium ion and a carboxyl ion in the molecule to a natural rubber latex, removing moisture from the mixture and drying the resulting product.
