PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display panel showing excellent image quality in which a voltage applied over the entire display area of the information display panel shows no irregularity, particularly in a standard size of A7 to B3. SOLUTION: The information display panel includes at least two kinds of display media comprising at least one kind of particles and having different values of optical reflectance and charging characteristics from each other, sealed in a spade between two opposing substrates at least one of which is transparent, and has a rectangular display unit of a dot matrix display system, which displays information such as an image by applying an electric field to the display media by giving a potential difference between pairs of electrodes composed of line electrodes disposed perpendicular to each other on both of the two substrates so as to move the display media. The line electrodes disposed on the substrate in the display screen side are made of a transparent material and laid in a direction parallel to the shorter side of the display area of the rectangular display unit. The line electrodes disposed on the substrate in the back side are made of a metal material and laid in a direction parallel to the longer side of the display area of the rectangular display unit.
