<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating a waste plastic that can largely reduce the amount of chlorine mixed into a recovered oil although it has a simple construction and to provide a method for treating waste plastic. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for treating a waste plastic, which is designed for the pyrolysis of the waste plastic as a resource which has the possibility of being mixed with polyvinyl chloride and other chlorine-containing plastics, comprises a pyrolysis unit in which the target waste plastic as a resource to be treated is introduced and the introduced waste plastic is pyrolyzed, a treatment unit for dechlorination and a treatment unit for condensing into oil components, respectively in which a pyrolysis gas discharged from the pyrolysis unit is treated wherein the pyrolysis unit is constructed such that the waste plastic as a resource is pyrolyzed at least at a first temperature and at a second temperature higher than the first temperature; and a guide passage for the pyrolysis gas discharged from the pyrolysis unit is provided with a change-over means for guiding the pyrolysis gas such that the pyrolysis gas produced at the first temperature is guided into the treatment unit for dechlorination and the pyrolysis gas produced at the second temperature is guided into the treatment unit for condensing into oil components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
