PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste-treating device which solves not only the problem that a stirring device is bent and a suffocation part is extended during a continuous operation but also a problem relating to its transport, these problems being caused by upsizing of the device itself. SOLUTION: The organic waste-treating device is provided with: a processing container right side half part A having a J-shaped section; one or more processing container intermediate half parts Bx having horizontal bottom parts; and one processing container left side half part C having a symmetrical shape of the character J; each of these container half parts having a stirring mechanism. In addition, the width of each container half part is set at most to 2.2 meters. Further, the organic waste-treating device is provided with a compressed air jetting-type ventilation mechanism and a stirring-controlling means which drives the above stirring mechanisms to normally and reversely rotate in preliminarily fixed order.
