PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight compressor which has a light weight vane for forming a compression element which an airtight container is filled with, hardly separates the vane from a piston on the basis of inertial force of the vane at the time of starting of the compressor, reduces load of a spring for pushing the vane to the piston, and has a highly reliable design of the spring by reducing twisting stress generated at the time of motions of the spring. SOLUTION: The vane is reduced in weight by arranging a cavity on a side opposite to a side coming into contact with the vane for forming an airtight container filled with the compression element, the inertia force generated in the reciprocating direction of the vane is reduced, and the vane is thereby hardly separated from the piston at the time of starting of the compressor.
