<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body for an airbag device that can be torn along tear lines without generating tightening. <P>SOLUTION: A lid 20 is a substantially rectangular plate extending in a lateral direction as seen from a front passenger. The lid 20 includes a center tear line 21 as a tear line extending in a lateral direction, a left tear line 22 continuing from a left end of the center tear line 21, and a right tear line 23 continuing from a right end of the center tear line 21. Each of the tear lines 21-23 comprises a groove provided on the back face of the lid 20. The left tear line 22 and the right tear line 23 extend above the center tear line 21 or in the forward direction and below the center tear line 21 or in the rear direction of the vehicle. The angle θ of intersection (θ<SB>1</SB>, θ<SB>2</SB>, θ<SB>3</SB>, θ<SB>4</SB>) between the right and left tear lines 22, 23, and the center tear line 21 is an acute angle, for example, 30°-80°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
