PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for soil disinfection, which improves disinfection workability and relatively weakens the pungent odor during disinfection operation. SOLUTION: The method for soil disinfection comprises using a nozzle 7 for spraying a disinfectant solution in a disinfectant solution tank 2, in a non-diffusive flow, arranging the nozzle 7 higher than the soil surface and continuously spraying the disinfectant solution in a non-diffusive flow from the nozzle 7 so that an air contact area, while the disinfectant solution brought into contact with the soil surface can be made relatively small, and the pungent odor during the disinfection operation is relatively weakened.
