The method involves placing mixture in a flotation basin that is filled with water shifted in pulsation. A rubber is deposited on a sieve base to control the jerky shaking motion. The rubber is carried to a discharge opening due to the jerky movements, with changeable cross section, by which the rubber is precipitated in a reservoir below the sieve base. The rubber is removed by a discharge sluice for further utilization. A wood is delivered in a wood collecting container and is supplied to the further utilization.
