PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content operation support apparatus and a program, for preventing an operation to stored contents from being forgotten to be performed. SOLUTION: In an image recording and reproducing device 2, an operation history information preparation part 300c prepares operation history information 272 and extracts content data 270 for which a prescribed period has elapsed from a storage part 27b. A series judgement part 300d judges whether or not the extracted content data 270 are series. When the extracted content data 270 are series and the content data 270 of the same series as the series of the extracted content data 270 are present in the storage part 27b, an operation prediction information preparation part 300e predicts the operation to be performed to the extracted content data 270 on the basis of the operation history information 272 of the previous content data 270 of the series and displays it at the image display part 40 of an image display device 4.
