Fixing device for doors, gates and frames and constituent parts thereof, comprising a base section, which is made from a relatively stiff sheet metal and which has a general base plane, the base section comprising a first of two interacting threads forming part of a threaded fastening. The base section comprises a number of sheet metal flaps (121, 221, 221', 321, 321', 421-426, 521, 621, 721) bent from the base plane, the flaps defining a segmented first thread with at least one thread segment (131, 223, 223', 522) which is designed for interacting, threaded engagement with a second constituent thread of the threaded fastening. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a fixing device.
