A method and apparatus for efficient lay-up placement is provided to locate a further layer of one or more compound material at limited part of the body and/or the wing without stopping, relocating, and restarting an AFP arbor. A method and apparatus for efficient lay-up placement is comprised of steps: arranging the lay up on the saddle module; arranging the saddle module at the predetermined selected location; pressurizing to the lay up structure. The predetermined selected location corresponds to the predetermined application route on the lay up structure. The lay-up is arranged on the lay up structure and according to the predetermined application route. |
