The invention provides an exercise apparatus of the harness and tethered ball type, said apparatus including a ball means, a harness configured for supporting the apparatus on at least one shoulder of a user, said harness having one or more loops through which an arm of a wearer passes in use, a tether associating the ball means with the harness, said tether having a first ball end portion to which a ball is attached, and a second handle end portion which is free of the harness and which provides handle means for a user to grip, and one or more eyelet means located on the harness and configured to operatively associate the tether and the harness thereby to permit the tether to be slidingly displaced in relation to the harness. |
