The board i.e. ski (2), has an arrangement for adjusting and immobilizing a shoe fixing device i.e. stop (1), and including a longitudinal groove (3) positioned within a sliding board structure. The groove vertically maintains the shoe fixing device, and adjusts a longitudinal position of the shoe fixing device. An elongated rack (4) and lateral walls (9) are provided for maintaining the shoe fixing device, and arranged on an upper surface of the board. The device is fixed on the board by screws (5) positioned in locations. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sliding board.
