A UV absorber is provided to produce a transparent plastic product or a molded member capable of processing selectively in which the penetration of the light with the wave length of maximum 400nm is reduced. A UV absorber is used in the production of a transparent polyamide product or the polyamide molded member. One or more UV absorbers having one or more substituted benzoyl group are added to the polyamide molding compound. The melted material of the polyamide molding compound containing the UV absorber does not be spread on the surface contacted in the production of the polyamide product or the molding material.
