A DAB receiving apparatus is provided to have a CODEC, thereby using a DAB broadcast even though an external apparatus with a CODEC does not exist. A receiving unit(110) receives a signal. A tuner(120) selects an intended channel in a received DAB signal. A connecting unit transmits a signal of the selected channel to the CODEC of an external apparatus. A CODEC unit(140) reproduces a signal of the selected channel. A power unit(150) supplies power to the tuner unit. A wireless transmission unit wirelessly transmits the signal reproduced in the CODEC unit to an external output apparatus. The wireless transmission unit transmits the signal reproduced by a broadcast channel. |
