<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an excellent color image by selecting suitable amount of toner when forming the color image by applying a single image carrier and two or more kinds of toner. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus where two or more kinds of toner images are superposed on the image carrier 150 and an image forming condition is changed according to toner adhesive amount has a charging means for charging the image carrier 150 every color, a write-in optical system for forming a latent image, and a plurality of developing devices arranged at predetermined intervals, and has a potential calculation means for calculating the potential of a toner layer based on the toner adhesive amount, a toner layer electrostatic capacity calculation means for calculating the electrostatic capacity of the toner layer based on the toner adhesive amount, and an electrostatic capacity storage means for storing the electrostatic capacity of the image carrier, and is constituted to feed back data on the potential of the toner layer, the electrostatic capacity of the toner layer and the electrostatic capacity of the image carrier to the image forming condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
