PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection authentication system in which equipment exchange connection information with each other via a server, the connection authentication system allowing the equipment to exchange the connection information with each other through simple operation by reducing an amount of information held in the server and access to the server. SOLUTION: The connection authentication system includes: a first terminal device of a first user; a second terminal device of a second user; and a connection authentication server. The first terminal device includes: a key information acquiring part for acquiring key information from the connection authentication server; a key information notifying part for notifying the first user about the key information; and a connection information acquiring part for acquiring the connection information from the connection authentication server. The second terminal device includes: a key information input part for receiving the key information transmitted to the second user; and an information providing part for providing the key information and the connection information to the connection authentication server. The connection authentication server includes: a key information providing part for providing the key information to the first terminal device; an information acquiring part for acquiring the key information and the connection information of the second terminal device from the second terminal device; and a connection information providing part for providing the connection information to the first terminal device.
