PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce against plug extraction/insertion with an inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: A jack reinforcement device is configured as follows. The lower part 5a of a sub-substrate 5 composed of a printed wiring board is soldered 8 to a main substrate 6 composed of a printed wiring board after fitting it into a slit of the main substrate 6. Accordingly, the sub-substrate 5 is fixed onto the main substrate 6 in an erected state. The device is used for reinforcing each RCA jack 4 that is composed of a jack body 4A, fixed to the sub-substrate 5 and placed on the main substrate 6, and a jack shaft 4B, integrally protruded onto the end face 4a of the jack body 4A, in order to connect a plug 9 to the jack shaft 4B. A pair of recessed grooves 11 is formed in both edges of the sub-substrate 5. A pair of engaging holes 12 is penetratingly provided into the main substrate 6 oppositely to each recessed groove 11. The device includes a pair of connecting plates 13 that is engaged with each recessed groove 11 and each engaging hole 12 facing each other so as to connect both edges of the sub-substrate 5 to the main substrate 6.
