PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition comprising at least one friction improving compound, and use of the same. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition comprises at least one anionic compound and at least one cationic compound, wherein at least one of the anionic compound and the cationic compound is a friction improver; and the composition exhibits (i) a difference of about 27°F or higher in temperature at rollover and (ii) a score of passing in a high temperature L-37 test.
