<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-integrated magnetic bearing device in which the long term durability of rolling bearings for a thrust load can be improved, which is compact and can cope with high-speed rotation, and in which the motor can be cooled by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In this motor-integrated magnetic bearing device, a main shaft 13 is supported by the rolling bearing and a magnetic bearing. An electromagnet 17 forming the magnetic bearing is attached to a spindle housing so as to contactlessly oppose thrust plates 13a, 13b provided on the main shaft 13. A motor cooling flow path penetrating through a portion where a motor 28 is disposed is provided on the spindle housing. The motor cooling flow path includes a gap generated between the thrust plates 13a, 13b and the members 17, 28b opposing the thrust plates 13a, 13b. A motive pressure groove 44 is provided on the surfaces of members 17, 28b opposing the thrust plates 13a, 13b where they oppose the thrust plates 13a, 13b.
