PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the change of the angle of a mowed grass discharging path by shifting forward, as far as possible, the starting end of an upward slope of the mowed grass discharging path formed between a pair of blade shafts placed adjacent to each other and rotating in opposite directions. SOLUTION: The rear discharge mower has a mowing blade driving case 3 provided with a connection case 31 connecting a cylinder shaft case 30 supporting each blade shaft 22 of the rear discharge mower to the upper end of the cylindrical shaft case 30, and a transmission mechanism 4 to transmit power between both blade shafts 22 is placed in the mowing blade driving case 3.
