PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor structure that ensures centrifugal strength while suppressing stator iron loss in a buried-magnet motor for high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: A motor has a structure in which each main magnet 6 magnetized in the radial direction of a rotor 1 is buried inside a rotor core. The motor is provided with each almost-circumferentially-magnetized auxiliary magnet 16 on both sides in a rotating direction of each main magnet. The main magnets and the auxiliary magnets are arranged in the Halbach array so as to strengthen magnetic fluxes in the inner-diameter direction of the rotor. The magnetic fluxes of the main magnets generated toward the outer-diameter direction of the rotor are attracted by the auxiliary magnets. Almost all of the magnetic fluxes of the main magnets pass through each bridge 12 without going out of the rotor 1 so as not to be interlinked with a stator 4. Thus, it prevents the occurrence of stator iron loss. Many magnetic fluxes of the main magnets and the auxiliary magnets pass through each bridge 12, and therefore, it is in a state of magnetic saturation or in a state close to it. It suppresses leakage magnetic fluxes since the magnetic fluxes exceeding the magnetic saturation are not allowed to pass through each bridge. Each bridge is thereby thickened to enhance strength.
