PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part structure of a vehicle body capable of compatibly reducing the weight of the vehicle body and enhancing the rigidity thereof by enhancing the load transmission efficiency substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body of a rear frame. SOLUTION: Rear frames 2A, 2B are formed of a first frame member 20 of a substantially U-shaped section which is opened upwardly from a low level area a to a bent area c, and the rear frames 2A, 2B are formed of a second frame member 21 of a substantially U-shaped section which is opened upwardly in a high level area b. A front part extension piece 23 of a substantially U-shaped section extending straight forwardly from a high level area constitution part 21b is integrated with the second frame member 21. A front edge of the second frame member 21 is fitted to the inner side of a rear edge of the first frame member 20, and the front extension piece 23 of the second frame member 21 is coupled with a low level area constitution part 20a across a bent area constitution part of the first frame member 20.
