The present invention relates to a frame for use in a wall opening having a frame profile cross-section, comprising a receiving space (4) for receiving a ventilator element (10), the main axis of which extends parallel to the longitudinal extension of the frame profile (2). The invention further relates to a housing (8) having a ventilator (20) for use in the frame. The ventilator element (10) is disposed in the housing (8) with an outside contour corresponding at least in sections to the outer contour of the adjacent frame profile cross-section. The housing (8), and a ventilator element (10) disposed therein rotatably about the longitudinal axis thereof, has a plurality of ventilation openings, which are distributed across the length of the housing (8) and disposed in an appropriate longitudinal position and which produced jointly formed air openings. The frame is produced in that the frame profile (2) is recessed in sections, and a housing (8) is inserted in the recessed section in a receiving space (4) in the frame profile (2). |
