The apparatus has a hollow cylindrical handheld case (1) including an elongated rotating element (5) that is assembled near a bottom and driven by an electric motor (8) that is arranged in a handle (2). The element has cutting blades (6) that are arranged parallel to a rotational axis exposing at the exterior of the case by an opening that is arranged at the bottom of the case. The blades are arranged such that blades cut a pulp of a citrus fruit e.g. lemon, into pieces and project the pieces inside the case.
