PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular alarm device for generating the alarm sound audible in a limited extent to an object for drawing attention around a vehicle. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including a step (S104) of selecting the alarm sound (weak) if there is an obstacle around a vehicle (YES in S100) and if the obstacle is a person (YES in S102), a step (S106) of selecting the alarm sound (strong) if the obstacle is not a person (NO in S102), and a step of driving an audio spot light part so that the alarm sound can be heard in an area including the position of the obstacle if a horn switch is turned on (YES in S108) and if an alarm condition is established (YES in S110).
