PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct current power source apparatus which controls an output including a transient voltage and obtains a stable operation. SOLUTION: The apparatus supplies a direct current to a load 43 by on-off-driving a flyback transformer 38 by an IPD 39. When a smoothing capacitor 41 to smooth the output of the flyback transformer 38 reduces an electrostatic capacity by a characteristic time-dependent change and becomes an open mode by a dry-up, for the overvoltage applied to the load 43, the apparatus turns a Zener diode 47 to be connected in parallel to the load 43 on, controls an operation of a transistor 50 to control the IPD 39 and controls an off-term of the IPD 39.
