摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a rotor of an electromagnetic actuator at a rest position. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic actuator includes: a rotor 110 which turns between the rest position and a maximum rotation position; a first yoke 120 which can generate a magnetic suction force and a repulsion force between the external peripheral face of the rotor and itself; a first coil 130 for magnetization wound to the first yoke; a second yoke 140 which can generate a magnetic suction force and a repulsion force between the external peripheral face of the rotor and itself; and a second coil 150 for energization wound to the second yoke. The first yoke 120 generates a holding force for holding the rotor at the rest position when the first coil 130 is not applied with electricity, and generates a drive force for rotating the rotor at the maximum rotation position when the first coil 130 is applied with electricity. The second yoke 140 generates a holding force for holding the rotor at the rest position when the second coil 150 is not applied with electricity, and reduces the holding force when the second coil 150 is applied with electricity.
