PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting tape, by which the spread ends of a plurality of papers with sizes different from each other can be bound under a state being set uniform, and printing equipment for producing the adjusting tape. SOLUTION: The adjusting part 41 of the adjusting tape 400 is folded back along a folding-back line 47 in halves. The pasting side of a second adjusting part 44 fits to the binding side end part of a A5-paper sheet P1 under a state that the bonding surface of a pasting part 42 is bonded to the binding side end part on the rear surface of the A5-paper sheet P1. The A5-paper sheet P1 pasted with the adjusting tape 400 is overlapped to the surface of a A4-paper sheet P2 so as to fit the spread end part of the A5-paper P1 to the spread end part of the A4-paper P2. At this time, the shortage of the width-wise length of the A5-paper P1 to the A4-paper P2 is W2-W1, which corresponds to one-half of the width-wise length of the adjusting part 41. In other words, the shortage of the width-wise length of the A5-paper P1 can be supplemented by the adjusting part 41 folded back in halves.
