PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an electric wave transmitting cover, which does not require a high precision molding and can reduce a production cost. SOLUTION: The method for producing the electric wave transmitting cover comprises a film-forming step of forming a film with a predetermined design, a first molding step of molding either a transparent resin layer or a base layer onto the formed film to give a first molded part, and a second molding step of forming the other one of the transparent resin layer and the base layer on a surface of the first molded part where the film is provided.
