PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer safely and easily post-installed in a washing stand without any possibility of falling due to an unexpected contact with a user, and being installed without impairing the aesthetic appearance of the washing stand in the hand dryer for drying hands by blowing off waterdrop from the hands. SOLUTION: This hand dryer includes a box body 2, a high-pressure air flow generator 3 sucking outside air into the inside of the box body 2, a nozzle 7 provided in the box body 2 and blowing high-pressure air from the high-pressure air flow generator 3 as high-speed air, a support member 21 for supporting the box body 2, and a fixing member for attaching the support member 21 to a detergent attachment arm 51 attached to the washing stand 52 or a wash basin 53 and fixing the support member 21 to the detergent attachment arm 51.
