PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor driver for driving a stepping motor with low noise. SOLUTION: On the basis of an excitation amplitude value AMPIN different in every phase and a phase difference correction amount PHMODIN between the respective phases, specified excitation data stored in a ROM 21 is corrected to generate excitation signals of the stepping motor 11, so that the excitation signals are corrected so as to reduce a variation in rotational torque of the stepping motor 11.
