PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supplying apparatus for boosting an output voltage of a storage section such as a storage cell, and stably supplying the voltage to a load. SOLUTION: The power supplying apparatus 6 for supplying power to the load 7 comprises: storage section side terminals T3, T4 coupled to a first storage section 1; load side terminals T1, T2 coupled to a second storage section 3 and the load 7; a converter section 2 for boosting the output voltage of the first storage section 1 to a first voltage, and outputting the first voltage to the load side terminals T1, T2 when the first storage section 1 is discharged; a voltage boosting circuit 4 for boosting the output voltage of the first storage section 1, and supplying the boosted voltage to the second storage section 3; and a reverse current preventing circuit 5 disposed between the second storage section 3 and the load side terminal T1, flowing a current from the second storage section 3 to the load side terminal T1, and blocking a current flowing from the load side terminal T1 to the second storage section 3.
