摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium secondary battery capable of obtaining a lithium secondary battery having a large charge/discharge capacity and excellent charge discharge cycle characteristics, and to provide a negative electrode for the lithium secondary battery and the lithium secondary battery using the negative electrode material. <P>SOLUTION: The negative electrode material for the lithium secondary battery includes Si particles and a plurality of kinds of carbonaceous materials, the average particle diameter (D50) of the Si particles is 0.05-1 &mu;m, and the porosity of a layer including the negative electrode material is 25-50 vol.%.
