PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform small-diameter hall cleaning which discharges initial rainwater to the outside. SOLUTION: The filtering device of falling rainwater having a housing 12 is provided with a rainwater circulation chamber 13, a valve chamber 14, a storage chamber 17, and a small-diameter hole 32a. The housing 12 is placed between the upper perpendicular pipe 11a and the lower perpendicular pipe 11b which is coaxial with the upper perpendicular pipe 11a. The rainwater distribution chamber 13, which is formed in the housing between the upper perpendicular pipe and the lower perpendicular pipe, circulates rainwater falling in the upper perpendicular pipe in the lower perpendicular pipe. Then the valve chamber 14, which is formed in the housing adjacent to the rainwater distribution chamber, makes initial rainwater which initially falls in the upper perpendicular pipe flow into itself. The storage chamber 17, which is connected to the valve chamber and is provided in the lower part of the housing, stores the initial rainwater which has flown from the rainwater distribution chamber to the valve chamber. The small-diameter hole 32a is provided in the lower part of the storage chamber, and discharges the initial rainwater stored in the storage chamber to the outside. A cylindrical body 31 connecting the storage chamber to the outside is provided in the lower part of the storage chamber with its axis placed in the perpendicular direction. Then a rod-shaped member 32 is attached to the cylindrical body from below with possible detachment, and the small-diameter hole 32a connected to the cylindrical body is formed in the rod-shaped member 32.
