<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for efficiently culturing a fertilized egg. <P>SOLUTION: The method for culturing the fertilized egg includes packing a closed channel 2 of a culture vessel 1 with a culture liquid 9 and the fertilized egg 8, and moving the fertilized egg 8 in the channel 2 by tilting or rotating the culture vessel 1. The culture vessel is formed out of an oxygen-permeable silicone hydrogel, and physical stimulation is added to the fertilized egg 8 in the channel 2 by repeatedly changing the shape of the channel 2 by compressing the culture vessel 1 in the axial direction of the channel or compressing the vicinity of the channel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
