<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool square batteries while fixing the square batteries with a binding band after the square batteries are laminated on one another in a state where ventilation ducts exist in a battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack includes: a battery block 3 formed by laminating battery cells 1, each composed of a plurality of square batteries, via spacers 2; and the binding band 4 to bind and fix this battery block 3. In the battery block 3, the ventilation ducts 6 are provided between the battery cells 1 laminated on one another via the spacers 2. In the binding band 4, air passage holes 7 are penetrated to send cooling air to the ventilation ducts 6.
