<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress output variation even when a light guide member having an optical fiber fixed to a holding member with an adhesive is connected to another optical member such as an optical fiber to perform optical transmission. <P>SOLUTION: Four optical fibers 30 of an integrating function fiber bundle part 3 are arrayed in a desired pattern in a ferrule 30a and fixed with an adhesive 33. A recess formed by removing the adhesive 33 by a predetermined distance (d) from a light projection end 32 to the inner side. While the light projection end 32 of the integrating function fiber bundle part 3 and a light incident end 41 of a uniform function fiber part 4 are brought into contact with each other, an air gap 35 is formed at the contact part. Thus, the air gap 35 is provided and then return light from an optical fiber 40 spreads to exit to the outside, so the adhesive 33 is prevented from deteriorating. Consequently, a scattering due to deterioration of the adhesive can be prevented to prevent output variation of laser light from becoming large. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
