PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a power feeder in an elevator type plating apparatus, for individually inspecting the energizing state of a power feeder provided at each hanger in an elevator type plating apparatus where each hanger for power feeding is held to a columnar carrier so as to be freely elevated, and power feeding is performed. SOLUTION: One stopping position of a columnar carrier 1 is set as a detection position for inspecting a power feeder 18, and a power feed bar 32 for inspection is provided at a position where a collecting brush 20 in the power feeder 18 is touched when a hanger 4 lowers to the inspection position. Further, a power feed column 31 for inspection is provided at a position where an auxiliary collecting brush 27 in an auxiliary power feeder 19 is touched. Also, a voltage relay 38 outputting a signal when fixed electric current is made to flow between the power feeder 18 and the power feed bar 32 for inspection from a power device and the measured voltage between the power feed bar 32 for inspection and the power feed column 31 for inspection reaches a set value or above is provided.
