PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ease of use of an operator by making a conveyance behavior after the end of printing variously switchable. SOLUTION: A PC 118 acquires tape attribute information of a cover film 103 prepared in a cartridge 7 installed by using a cartridge holder 6 or of a base tape 101 stuck to the film, and sets the conveyance behavior of the cover film 103 by a tape feed roller 27 after the completion of printing by a printing head 23 on the basis of the acquired tape attribute information.
