PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge stable voltage through a simple and compact configuration with respect to a power supply device for bicycles. SOLUTION: The power supply device 14 for bicycles which charges power generated at a hub dynamo 10, and includes multiple electric storage elements 51a to 51c, a connection switching unit 52, a voltage detection unit 53, and a switch control unit 54. The electrical storage elements are disposed between a first end 10a and a second end 10b of the hub dynamo. The connection switching unit switches the electric storage elements between a first state in which they are connected in series with the hub dynamo and a second state in which they are connected in parallel. The voltage detection unit detects voltage supplied from the hub dynamo. The switch control unit sets the connection switching unit into the first state when the voltage detected by the voltage detection unit is equal to or higher than a predetermined voltage and into the second state when the detected voltage is lower than the predetermined voltage.
