PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle information output device and an in-vehicle information display device capable of outputting and displaying information to a driver in an intuitive manner while a vehicle is. SOLUTION: The in-vehicle information output device 3 is mounted to a vehicle 2 and outputs information to a display means for displaying information to an occupant including at least a driver. The in-vehicle information output device comprises a storage means 10 for storing pattern data in which the content of the character data is schematized, a retrieval means 8 which acquires the content data including the character data and retrieves the pattern data corresponding to the keyword of the character data from the storage means 10, a discrimination means 19 for discriminating whether or not the vehicle 2 is traveling, and an output means 16 for outputting the pattern data retrieved by the retrieval means 8 when it is discriminated by the discrimination means 19 that the vehicle 2 is traveling.
