PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with a new game style by arranging a plurality of passage areas and moreover, making a special area (major prize winning slot) play a new role in games. SOLUTION: In a game board 14 of a pachinko game machine 10, a part of it is made as a permeable area to form a playing area 15a where game balls roll on its surface side and a playing area 15b where the game balls roll formed on its rear side. A shutter 40 is movable in an opening range between the closed position of making game balls harder to pass through a major prize winning slot 39 and the opening position of making them easier to do so. The main CPU 66 controls to drive the shutter 40 in any range out of the opening ranges of multiple kinds covering the playing areas 15a and 15b or at least any one of the playing areas during a special game and alters the opening range when prescribed requirements are met.
