A syringe (10) including a syringe label (18) wrapped around the syringe and about itself. The label may be positioned on the syringe just below the flange (26) and above the graduation markings so as not to obscure information preprinted on the syringe body. The label may also extend over the graduation markings (19) but include a window to assure that the markings are visible through the label.
