The invention relates to a film for fixing to a roller shutter, comprising a carrier layer (1) provided with a self-adhesive coating (2) and a protective layer (3) covering the coating (2), the protective layer (3) being able to be removed from the coating (2). The aim of the invention is to ensure that the film can be easily applied to a vertical base. To this end, the invention is characterised in that a holding element (4) for positioning the carrier layer (1) is arranged on the side of the protective layer (3) opposite the coating (2).
