The invention relates to a method for filtering interference affecting a detection sensor (5) which maybe affected by a magnetic filed, integrated in a door handle (P) on a vehicle (V) provided with a hands-free access device, said detection sensor being provided with an output connected to a central unit (2) to deliver the same a status signal representing the status of said detection sensor and said interference resulting from the transsmission of signals by an antenna (3) controlled by the central unit (2), of a given transmission duration (T), for identification of portable remote control units (B). According to the filtering method the central unit (2) is programmed such that on each command to transmit an identification signal and during a time period significantly greater than the transmission time (T) for said identification signal, said central unit in parallel commands a block for the status signal processing coming from the output of the detection sensor (5).
