The testing device has a test specimen with a complementary structure, which is connected to form a replacement section and devices are provided for fastening fuselage shell at the complementary structure. The replacement section is formed from N-fuselage shells (14) with N-shell coupling (13), where N is an integer and is greater than 1. The complementary structure is formed from glass-fiber reinforced epoxy resin.
