<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive unit which enables small size and high torque. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive unit has an inverter controller 14 which controls the output voltage of an inverter circuit 2, and a load state judging part 18 which judges the load state to the torque of a brushless motor 3. The input voltage of the inverter circuit 2, a motor current which flows to the brushless motor 3, and a current command which shows the current value that should flow to the brushless motor 3, and the load state from a load state judging part 18 are inputted into the inverter controller 14. The output voltage of the inverter circuit 2 is controlled so that it may keep the voltage phase of the voltage applied to the brushless motor 3 in case that the input voltage to the inverter circuit 2 is smaller than the voltage to be applied to the inverter circuit 2 and that there is a margin in the torque of the brushless motor 3 to the load, and so that it may not keep the phase relation of the brushless motor 3 in case that there is no margin in the torque to the load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
