PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption heat pump of high efficiency using an adsorbent capable of adsorbing and desorbing an adsorbate in a low relative vapor pressure region. SOLUTION: The adsorption heat pump is driven by a heat source of 100°C or lower, wherein the adsorbent, when measured at 25°C, gives a water vapor adsorption isotherm which, in a relative vapor pressure range of 0.05 to 0.30, has a relative vapor pressure region in which a change in a relative vapor pressure of 0.15 results in a change in a water adsorption amount of 0.18 g/g or larger, and the adsorbent is zeolite containing aluminum, phosphorus and a heteroatom in a framework structure.
